  Have met several wonderful people that attend. My family and I visited several times but found the messages to be pre-elementary. Lack the presence of the Holy Spirit and we felt very unwelcomed. After following Jesus for almost 15 years now, we have found the best church where many become one at a church called "Redemption" with pastors Ron and Hope Carpenter.

  This church does not walk the walk that they try to preach on the pulpit .
  This church denys the very bare necessities of a fellow brother. They are hypocrites and liars.
  DON'T BRING YOUR FAMILY TO THIS CHURCH!
  If they deny one they deny all!
  STAY AWAY!

  I hope what I saw on Facebook was not true....I wonder why the service was obviously edited...I would love to see what actually happened but God knows.....love thy neighbor as yourself....I will be praying for your church.

  I am so sad and disappointed about how this pastor Rod Elliott and committee members have treated their very own neighbor by making them go without electricity. Not to mention the ugly things he said in the sermon after they threw him out for expressing his family being hurt by their actions and then edits it out of the sermon video. He also had the audacity to say that Hartsville would notice if his church was not here. How prideful!!! As for me, I have only heard negative comments about these ungodly men!! But I have known the family that bought the land that the church covets,,, for many many years and they are what I would call "The real deal" when it comes to great christians!!! I am also heartbroken about him asking them to not shout praises during worship singing because it makes his members nervous. A very poor example of the love and compassion of Jesus. I pray for the family to be strengthened and to stand firm ,,, and also pray for the hearts of this church to repent.

  This church is very welcoming and makes you feel loved when you walk in the doors! You can tell that God is in this place!
